Assessment of Academic Skill 17

Mastered Skill
This skill is considered mastered if the learner is able to independently SORT ten (10) basic colors. Begin sorting the colors RED, and BLUE (Objective 1).

Finding Level of Performance
If the learner is UNABLE to independently SORT RED and BLUE (Objective 1), this skill will be scored a “0” and the educator can move to AS 18.
The skill of sorting occurs when the learner is able to place 2 or more of the same color circle card manipulatives on the correct color on placement of the Activity Sheet. If the learner is ABLE to complete Objective 1, the educator will proceed to find the level of performance for the learner (Objective 2 and onwards).
